Well maybe its a strange topic for a first entry but i had such a great fun that i thought it would be nice to say a few words. September 2008 i took a Java training in Delhi organized by Koenig solutions and it was a blast! I want to make another entry about India and Delhi itself. Any way Java is great, i guess i dont have to tell anyone ;-) Actually they organize a lot of other stuff like Cisco, .Net, Oracle etc. There were even some guys taking certification in Linux! :-)) whatever you like you got it.

As to the accommodation it was very good considering Delhi i guess. Hotel stuff never forgot to wake me up, never delayed any service nor did anything wrong. I was staying in Patel Continental near Patel Nagar metro station. Neighbour looked like after earthquake but it was because of some building regulation breaches. Beside that really nice.

Oh another good thing was that we had cars driving us from the hotel to training center every day there and back so there was no problem with wasting any time or money. We also had some meals on the house during day. I must say the Chinese noodles were great! still have appetite ;-) I was a bit cautious and i dont like Indian food so i was having chinese or dominos pizza most of the time and it was really nice. Well i was there just one month so i survived :-) heheheh but i remember poor bastards sitting there 3 months. Heheh they did not enjoy almost anything ;-) India overdose.

Well what else, internet connection in the hotel was rather poor but it worked. We had some AC and bathrooms so it was quite ok. I only missed windows :-) But some other rooms were facing the sun and people were complaining that it was too hot so i guess any way it was ok. Maybe dogs could bark a bit less but still it was great.

And the most important thing was the training. Well i was really pleased as i signed up for full time regular track. But it appeared that i was the only one for java so i had teacher 1-1 :-). Even better that books are really good and let you prepare really well so we were able to finish easily before the schedule without any pressure. Level was good and i still think it was really worth it (even that i work in php again hehe)

Ok i have to go so the bottom line is that i recommend Koenig Solutions as a really good place to go for a few weeks. Im such a nice guy a will even give you their link ;-)
